Dr. Amelia Ahles (ALL-less)

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University.

My research is motivated by a deep passion to understand human behavior and use economics to improve the lives of consumers and producers through agricultural innovation. I apply behavioral and experimental economic techniques to investigate decision-making to a variety of domains related to agriculture, food choice, health and nutrition, labor, charitable giving, neuroeconomics, and sustainability.

I completed my PhD at Texas A&M University, and previously worked as a postdoctoral research fellow with Jayson Lusk at Oklahoma State University.
